When I began reading this book, I thought it was mostly geared toward young couples just starting out on their marriage journey, but I soon discovered that it’s filled with plenty of great advice for all couples, even those like my husband and me who’ve been together for almost 30 years. Each chapter is a goldmine of wisdom on how to build a strong marriage, maintain closeness and passion, and how to weather those inevitable storms that every couple has to face. I especially loved the way most chapters end with a personal anecdote from real couples who have been through just what the chapter is dealing with. It really reinforces the advice with practical application. I also loved the exercises and guidelines at the end of the book. My husband and I had a great time doing them together, and it really brought us closer.

This book will be an automatic wedding gift for all the newlyweds in my family from now on!
