The Mind of a Child

In the mind of a child anything can and does happen. So when I tell you one of the most important things you will ever do as a parent is

• Read to your child.
• To tell stories to a child inspirers their imagination.
• To praise a child gives them pride.
• Share with them antidotes of your childhood.
• Put yourself in their little shoes.

I was a sick child and spent a lot of time in bed.  The stories my grandmother read and told me about my ancestor’s stays with me today. I am proud of it; I come from a long line of Sea Captain’s. My own father was born at Sea.

Today I write and tell stories, not of the Sea but Outer Space. I tell stories of a voyage to a new Star System called Dawn and the strange creatures that they meet. My stories have dragon’s, SiiCor, Winged Taion’s, talking rats and telepathic clones. I bring to life Spirit Butterflies and the symbiotic Latwo a beautiful woman with rainbow eye’s and opal essence skin, destined to become the heart and soul of something much larger.

I chose the Meerkat as my model of Ratkind. In my story Toby (a space rat) asks to become more human and Latwo changes her. Toby’s body changes into that of a Meerkat, she can talk and walk on her back legs. Her hands become even more usable with a thumb and 4 fingers.

Ratkind develop a special bond with Pugs a breed of dog introduced to the Legacy. The Pugs become their mount as houses are to humans Pugs are to Ratkind. I love to tell stories about animals. In my life I have always had a loving cat or dog to talk to, to share my problems with, to love me even when I could not love myself. I try to share life lessons through animal antics.
